DFW Sonar Training: White Bass Success at Collin Park Marina

Action-packed day from the get-go! Lonnie and I headed out early morning from Collin Park Marina for some summer fishing on the water. Partly cloudy skies made for perfect conditions as we launched into what would be a solid training session with Carey Thorn Fishing's 2-Hour Instructional Session with Capt. With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on sonar fishing and structure fishing techniques using electronics-assisted methods. The white bass were cooperative throughout our session, and Lonnie picked up the electronics work real quick. DFW waters are perfect for this type of fishing since the structure holds fish consistently and the sonar shows exactly where they're positioned. We hammered down on several spots and the screen lit up with fish. Reckon it was one of those days where everything just clicked right from the start.
